Sniff My Site is a free website downtime alert service where you can be instantly notified when you website is down. In order to use our free service your must provide us with a website url and your valid email address where we can send the downtime alerts. If we feel anyone is abusing our free service they maybe restricted from using our website monitoring service and could also find themselves banned from our website altogether.

System Alert Emails

Due to the nature of our system you will receive emails from us, these emails are not spam, they are the system alerts to notify you your website has issues. If you do not wish to receive these emails any longer please click on the delete my alert link within the email, once you have done this your will no longer be sent system alerts and your website monitoring service will be deleted from our system.

Service Agreement

Our system will visit your website once every 15 minutes to see if your website is online and working, if you site is online your will not be sent any emails however, if our system can not connect to your site you will be sent a email to notify you of its downtime. You will only receive another email once our system could connect again. By using our free service you agree Sniff My Site can not be accused or held responsible for any issues they may arise within your website, if you feel our system is causing a problem please refrain from using our service.

Privacy Policy

Sniff My Site feels very strong about the privacy policy, All account information Sniff My Site collects will never be sold or given away.

Cookies

Sniff My Site does not use cookies to store any session information however, some of our advertisers may uses cookies to provide targeted advertisements. Sniff My Site does not have any access to the information that may be gathered by these cookies.

As Sniff My Site is a free website monitoring service we provide links to other websites on the internet, these other websites take full responsibility for the content and privacy policies within their website.

Website Tracker

Sniff My Site tracks it's visitors and users by their assigned ip address, this information is collected every time a person visits our website and will monitor the visitors actions within our site. We do this for the benefit of our visitors so that we can monitor our websites performance and security. Any information that Sniff My Site collects is only used for our site statistics and is destroyed on a regular basis.
